PLI worked to identify routes to deliver city potable water to required internal locations.
A local facility asked Prairie Landworks to survey and identify possible routes to supply city water to their internal water treatment plant and boiler house using 4-inch HDPE (high-density polyethylene) water line. During this process, the PLI crew exposed utility conflicts, modified the route accordingly and then supplied the owner with accurate construction plans for competitive bid. Our team also coordinated obtaining necessary permits with the Kansas Department of Transportation on behalf of the owner.
PLI Construct was awarded the contract to construct this water line. Our technicians then mapped the location of every weld as our construction crew installed the pipeline, producing an accurate weld map and as-built set of plans at the time of completion. These weld maps provide an accurate location and depth of the pipeline should maintenance be needed in the future.
