During this 23,000-square-foot remodel project, PLI brought modern functionality to a local church.
First United Methodist Church is enjoying several newly renovated spaces in its education wing including a multi-purpose area, kitchen, youth rooms and classrooms.
Always striving to deliver one-of-a-kind designs, PLI provided the modern warm flair the church desired while incorporating several custom pieces like the large sliding barn doors that were handmade by our crew. The separation created by these doors allows an organized flow of activity for the youth and gives them a place to call their own.
Custom-cut metal panels were installed on the existing stair and balcony handrail framing, bringing the railings up to code while adding to the aesthetics of the building. The PLI team also carved an elevator into the existing floor plan, allowing access to both levels of the facility for all church members and visitors.
A new layout was at the heart of the kitchen makeover. This revitalized space now supports improved flow for preparing and serving food using state-of-the-art commercial kitchen equipment.
Common spaces and classrooms all received updated ceilings, LED lighting, paint and flooring, creating an inviting ambiance for all who enter through the doors.
