Prairie Landworks Inc. was founded in 2012 with a primary focus on surveying and civil engineering. Taking advantage of the strong industrial market in Central Kansas, our services soon expanded to include inspection, project management and consulting for the oil and gas industry.

Our company quickly grew from a two-man operation into a full-service commercial construction company under our PLI Construct division offering site development, concrete and utility work, design-build services, construction management and general contracting. This progress also included the addition of our PLI Scapes division, which provides landscaping and maintenance services. In 2016, we added our own process piping crew, further increasing our industrial construction capabilities. Today Prairie Landworks employs more than 40 team members.

Inc. Magazine ranked us No. 224 on its 2016 list of the fastest-growing businesses in the U.S. between 2012 and 2015, with an increase in revenue surpassing 1,700 percent. As part of this award, we were also named the second fastest-growing business in Kansas and the ninth fastest-growing construction business in the nation.

In 2019, Prairie Landworks Inc. unified their logos for Prairie Landworks, PLI Construct, PLI Scapes, and Turfwood Lawn and Tree Care under one logo — PLI. Along with this change came updated branding and a website URL of pliteam.com.

Prairie Landworks continues to provide a diverse range of services to multiple industries throughout Kansas and beyond.
